About the Owner

Cheryl Chupka is a licensed esthetician, certified lash extensionist, semi-permanent makeup artist, and owner of Chel’s Lashes, whose background is as colorful as her work.  She legally immigrated to America in 2009, as a Marine Corps spouse, and in 2014 trained to be a lash artist in Japan.  Cheryl started her own business in Okinawa in 2015 and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2016.  She went on to get her esthetics license in South Carolina in 2018 and established her own thriving lash and skin care business in Beaufort until 2020.  In 2019, she became an international lash educator.  In 2020, Cheryl moved to Virginia and returned to school to obtain her esthetician certifications and licenses in Virginia and Pennsylvania.  She opened the doors to Chel’s Lashes in McLean, Virginia in 2021 where she has successfully established a new business, specializing in lash extension.  Cheryl prides herself in providing the highest quality semi-permanent lash extensions, with the greatest of care for her clients, while providing the most luxurious treatments in a relaxing atmosphere that she created herself at 6665 Old Dominion Dr, B2, McLean VA 22101.
